The ACCA Qualification: new structure from 2027

From 2027 ACCA moves to a new structure: Knowledge, Expertise and Strategic Professional. You earn an award at every level and the ACCA Qualification at the end. Alongside the exams, each level has an employability module, and you build 30 months of practical experience (PER).

The new Knowledge level starts in July 2027, Expertise and Strategic Professional in September 2027. Exams you have already passed carry over under ACCA transition rules.

Frequently asked questions

What is ACCA?
ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is a UK-based global body for professional accountants. Its qualification is recognised by employers in around 180 countries, including the Big4.
How many exams are there?
From 2027 most students sit 11 exams: Knowledge (K1–K3), Expertise (E1–E5) and Strategic Professional (S1, S2 plus 1 option). You also complete an employability module at each level and 30 months of practical experience (PER). Exams you have already passed carry over to the new structure.
Can I get exemptions?
Yes. Depending on your previous education (for example, an accounting or finance degree), ACCA may exempt you from some exams. We can check this together during a free consultation.
How and when are exams held?
All ACCA exams are computer-based (CBE). Applied Knowledge exams can be booked on demand; Applied Skills and Strategic Professional exams run in four sessions a year: March, June, September and December.
Which study formats do you offer?
Three formats: offline at our training centre, online via Zoom, and recorded video lessons.
How long does a course take?
Most papers take about 3 months. The exact duration is shown on each course page.
